Trade Aid is a social enterprise that’s all about change, and they live by stringent principles in terms of ethics, sustainability and fair trade in all their dealings. Being selected to redesign their chocolate range was a real privilege. The result was a striking new look that incorporated a unique 100% compostable outer film, and Katie Sheehan, Trade Aid’s Head of Marketing was very happy with it. “Our chocolate rebrand was the biggest project our organisation has ever embarked on,” she says. “It was new territory for us, so selecting a design agency that was the right fit was an absolute must. The story we needed to convey was complex and uniquely different. The team at Brother Design not only shared our passion, they ‘got’ our story and really supported us throughout the entire process, ultimately creating a beautiful design for our chocolate brand.”
The new look has gone down well with the judges at the Best Awards, too, being shortlisted for the next competition. Fingers crossed…
